Bluebird Soft Inc., has unveiled their new Pidion BIP-7000 mobile computer. In my opinion, its ergonomic design and performance will attract customers from for retail, manufacturing, transportation and logistics, healthcare and utilities.
The manufacturer has used a crack-resistant TouchWindow LDC and designed it in such a way that it can withstand drops from 6ft. They have provided 3 scan keys and a trigger. The he smart handheld computer can be used by right and left handed users.
The BIP-7000 data collection functionality is superb. It can rapidly captures accurate from a 1D laser scanner or 1D/2D CMOS imager. It has also a 3.0 megapixel autofocus camera. The .8" touch screen can capture signature of the recipients.
The company has used Marvel PXA 320@806 MHz processor can be used with Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5 or Windows CE 5.0. It supports 802.11b/g WLAN.
